Works In Progress

I'm close to finishing my next piece from my ciricus series.
I think this is Verelene.  It's hard to tell.
She has such stage fright.  But, then sometimes she zones out
and you think for a moment it's Gaynelle,
with all her self confidence and courage.

We'll see.

Late Night In The Studio

Another joy-filled night, truly, in the studio.  Working on my sixth piece for Art Mundo's Calendart event.    Two more pieces to go!  Woohoo!!

Gwen is giving me creative advice.  AND lying on all the pieces I want to use.

Stuck

Been working on this for a while. One of those pieces that
won't come readily. For one moment there, I considered tossing it.
I rarely take this approach. I like to conquer.

It's been sitting around, being moved out of the way, becoming a nuisance.

Sometimes things just have to hang around and join the subconscious to get the answers.

And then, finally an aha. We'll see. I'll keep you posted.

Unless you set aside dedicated time to produce your art, the art will not get made. There are some times when making the art is fun, but other times it’s notso if you want to build something sustainable, you have to find a way to keep making art during the not-so-fun "times." - unknown

Watch Me

A perfect sentiment to start a new project or goal.

This blog is to share my creative methods, inspiration
and the latest from the studio.

With that in mind, these things I believe:

There are no mistakes.

Creativity is free for the taking.

Color is SO important. However, black and white is dramatic.

Trust the process.

Have fun and play.

If you're not having fun, why are you here?

Please visit my other blog, GINNY PIECH STREET, for the art.
